One of the products used during the cleaning process was Phenolics, which are antimicrobials that active against a wide range of bacteria. They are fungicidal, that is, they kill some viruses and they are used mainly for environmental disinfection. Another product used during the cleaning was the Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, which are used primarily in food processing areas, locker rooms, toilets, and garbage storage areas. This product was effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, and it acted as a virucide and fungicide, and it inhibited the growth of mold and mildew.

Our staff also used manually operated devices, such as mops, sponges, brushes, cloths, and pistol-grip sprayers as the After picture demonstrates. The physical scrubbing helped to clean the floors so that the antimicrobial agent can come in contact with the microorganisms.
